I thought I would give ya'll an update and post a few more pics.

I ended up making a trans. cross member out of some 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" square tubing and a couple pieces of 4" square tubing. I did use the factory f-body trany mount too. I also pulled the motor and trans back out to change the quick disconnect out on the slave cylinder. I used the Russell fittings that were mentioned in the sticky. I can't remember the number right off hand, but will look it up if need be. I also used a 26" long Russell -3 an brake line to connect the MC and the SC.
I had to shorten the MC push rod and make a mounting bracket...pretty straight forward.

I bought and installed a radiator and fan set-up out of a 2000 TA. I had to drill a hole in the core support for the drain, but that was it. I also have my fuel system installed. I used a walboro 255 in tank pump with the 99 Corvette filter just like everyone else.

Right now I'm waiting on my wiring harness from Speartech. It should be here this week , along with the PCM that I sent to Wait4me performance last Thursday.

If everything goes well I should be able to fire this thing up in a couple weeks!

LOL I knew someone would notice that. It is bolted up to the rear, but the rear end is just hanging there. I have jack stands under the torque boxes. I was installing the fuel tank at this time.

I did receive the wiring harness for Speartech today. Everything looks great !

Are you using the T-bird Turbo coupe pedals? Or what is the master cylinder pushrod bolted to?

Well with wiring harness back from Speartech (awsome btw) and the PCM back from Wait4me . I was able to get most of the wiring ran and the PCM mounted. I had a issue with mounting the PCM in the stock mustang location. The 98 PCM if freaking big! I ended up having to clearance the fire wall where the heater core inlet and outlet goes through because I had to shift the whole box over about 1". I started to just leave the box out, but after thinking about those cold mornings getting off of work I came to my senses.

I have also installed the flamming river steering shaft, sub frame connectors ,wired up the fuel pump and wired up the electric fans.
I loaded the car up on the roll back last Friday and took it down to the muffler shop and had the exhaust ran. I went with 3" pipe into an X pipe and turned down at the axle after the Dynomax 2 chamber mufflers.

If everything goes well, I'm going to try to fire it up this weekend....with me luck!

Not yet. I will try to get some this weekend.

lol I'm not trying to make you look bad...I swear I am only able to work on this thing on the weekends . But I try to work on it all day both days. Up until the past couple weeks it's been so freaking hot outside I didn't want to work on it. I do owe alot to my wife for not giving me a hard time for spending the last 3 months worth of weekends working on it.

Do you have any idea whan you will be able to fire yours up?

Mike

Does the shifter fit in the stock location? Stock center console?
