No, the shifter is going to be right at the rear of the opening...how far back, I don't know.

I'm a big fan of the stock style SS tips too. I would run a set , but I plan on running a anti-roll bar.

i'll tell you what, i've driven only a couple LS1 powered Camaros but was always impressed by the power even is stock form. I could just imagine how it's gonna feel in a nice little light coupe!!!!

Mine is an absolute blast, and now with the MS4 it's stupid-fun to drive. I haven't spun it past 6200 yet but the tune is coming in a few days.

You'll love it, hope you did the drill mod because you'll need (WANT) it

Well, I got to make a few shake down runs yesterday. I will say that it felt very strong. I didn't really give it to much hell. But what hell I did give it , I can say the the stock clutch is not going to make it. I am probably going to order a new one today. I plan on getting the front clip primed and trimmed out this weekend so maybe I can get it put back on late next week.

As you can tell from the pics. We all know who's car this really is....

Car looks great. I never liked these stangs but lately they have been growing on me. When done right they sure are lookers. Yours is headed in the right direction and looks like you have a capable pit crew as well.

I am the same way, they didn't appeal to me in the past but I have been thinking about them hard lately. I'm trying to decide if I want to build one of these or a 370 with a D1sc for the Camaro.

Your car is going to be sick, may I ask how much has been invested? I have been looking at parts and prices, its looking like it will cost around 13k. Thats a rough guess.

I would say that you could build one for under 10k. Just a rough guess I would say I have about 8k in mine.

Hey Kyle, I'm still here. I have been working some major OT at work, but I still lurk 3-4 times a day on clubhioctane . I just haven't posted anything.
I still plan on hanging out with ya'll soon.

SatisTraction, I cut the end off of the orig. push rod and welded it onto a treaded sleeve that I bought at Lowe's. The sleeve looks like a 1" long nut with 1/4-20 treads through it.
