Default BMW E36 LS1 Swap Video

Enjoy.

Original version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CmjtGYekx0

It is a little less serious than these usually are.

Minimally edited version of most of the driving with the original sounds. If you like the sound of a rev limiter getting a workout this one is for you. It will put you to sleep but people kept asking.....

Nicely done. The video would have been better with less music and more engine sounds. (opinion only)

How much did the swap end up costing?
How much power are you making?

That video was AWSOME! Does everything work? Are you using a BMW trans? If so how long do you think the Trans/IRS rear will last.

Everything works. I am using a rebuilt T-56 6 speed and a built BMW rear diff.

The motor is a 6.6 liter LS2 block with LS1 electronics.

RAO, What rear diff ratio are you using? You may have said and I've forgotten. How do you like it?

Are the BMW simply OBDII and controlled by the ls1 ecm?

Nice work, looks like a lot of fun.

Calculate mpg yet?

Rob, you are a sick man. You should seek help.

I love the sticker at the end, you should use it in your sig!
