Hopefully I can get out of work early enough to make it there and be able to make more than one pass. Still need to finalize some **** on the car, but it is 99.9% ready

Definitely will... I am so excited to finally make some hits. I don't expect much. If this thing goes 6.90, I will be happy. The clutch is going to be the biggest hurdle

Thank you, I truly appreciate. i call it my shitbox. lol
the build wasnt that bad because it has been spread over several years. I probably have about $15-20k in the roller with the transmission. Not sure on the engine.
this was built primarily with used parts.

Thanks. I may have to copy your look as I've heard the smooth front ends are worth some MPH.

badass build man. Sounds like one of my douchebag projects that last a few years. Happy to have read all 10 pages. Tight work. Hoping to do something similar with my shitbox 93.

I will be at Irwindale tonight. Not going to have the LS engine in it, though. we put a conventional 23degree sbc in it, for now. got sick of waiting for the LS engine to get done, so we slapped together some shitbox engine with used parts to get the car and clutch dialed in.

Yeah, it was in the car and was having vacuum issues and we pulled it apart and found some piston problems. got new pistons and will be putting it back together. in the meantime, i still have the 23*sbc in it and have run 5.9@116 on a 200 shot.

Here is one of my license passes. The car wasnt hooking, so I decided to leave pretty low to bog it and once it had some wheel speed, i hit the unit and it spun into third gear and I ran out of gear and shut it down at 1000ft. ran 9.81@144 with a 1.78 60ft and 6.40@120 in the 1/8.
