I have a long way to go but it does fit. The car will weight around 2400 pounds when done. I beleve it will be fun. I might be adding the universal sts turbo system remote mount in the back which will increase a stock engine...to around 475 rwh or more. T56 with give me great gas mileage
cheers!

Which rear end did you go with?
I went with a R200 out of a Q45 Nissan 3.54.1 ratio viscous lsd differential. I will post some pictures later today, and the brackets I used. I will show all the welding done to beaf up Diff area. Went with coil over suspension in rear and converterd over to 240sx disk brakes and caliper has e-brake on it. In the front used Toyota 83 4 piston disk brake caliper... was a direct bolt on. The picture above shows a different setup that has been revised for the disk brake setup.

Basically, lift Spitfire body from frame, build new frame and totally reinforce front and rear suspension, and add larger rear axle.. Oh and WAY bigger brakes all around. Still worth it?
