we are very close Kevin, I'm at 2830 with me and gear.

The pics are awesome. it's coming along nicely. I love the wheels. I wish I could splurdge on a set evo's or bogart's. But I have to buy some susp stuff and get the n2o put on over the winter.

Hurry up and get it to the track. I want to see what she does..

what hood is that? 6"? Looks like the one I just got from champion hoods and deck lids out of cinci.

Did you do the rear seat deleat yet? If not look up scottrodsfabrication.com. His work is awesome. look at my pics to see mine. It's a little pricey at $350 but well worth it. He can do them in any color also. Just an fyi.

Were did you get the zuas rail for the hood? I would like to find a nice set for my hood.

Hope to get it back to the track this weekend for some testing. The hood is a 6" harwood. Yeah I had my buddy that put the hood and built the zeus rails for me put in a seat delete. He made my rails from scratch but RaceCraft makes some, I think they're like $75.

Really hard to say man. The turbo stuff will add some weight for sure. Other than your turbo stuff, your car is pretty much the same as mine..

Well I decided to make some fuel system changes. Before I only was using #6 line, one pump, and one regulator, for both the motor and nitrous. I am adding #8 line for the motor and using the #6 to supply to fuel for the nitrous. So now the motor and nitrous will have their own pumps and regulators so I can better control and tune the car. Built the new lines yesterday, picking up the nitrous fuel pump tonight. All thats left is to mount the pump and regulator and hook up the lines, then flow everything. Plan to hit the track for some testing this weekend..

Coan Transmission here in In, has always been a big player in drag apps. They can build a th350 to what ever power level you need. Or get a th400 for a heavier car.

Or a Rosler th350. Top notch stuff.

Kevin, that is how I am doing mine. I got a hp150 pump this summer and took the hp125 off. So i'll hook it to the other port on the bottom of the tank and run it up to a reg for the n2o. Should make for a sweet setup. And to fine tune the fuel for the plate with out messing with the motor's fuel flow.

I got the joint from speedway motors and made my own for about $65. I got the "D" shape shaft from them also.

all fixed. the shaft that comes off the collom moves some. so mine was pushed in making it look like the shaft was to short. pulled it out some and works great.

Well just an update, Since getting the car back together with the new motor, been back to the track once. I am pretty happy with the car for the first time out with the new setup. All passes were made off the footbrake because my transbrake button broke. With the car having nitrous timing and #8 ngk plugs the car went 6.5 on the motor which is a tenth better than the old motor. I figure with motor timing and plugs I could probably get a 6.3-40 out of it pretty easy. Went a 6.02@117 in the 1/8 on a 150hp. Heres a couple pics a video where I got out cause she was headed to the tree..No video for the 6.02 pass, the camera decided to die during my burnout...

View My Video

Car was going left a little, so I adjusted the anti-roll bar a little and then went to start the car and heard some strange noise coming from transmission area so just loaded it up and took it home. Once I got it home figured out the converter bolts had came loose so went ahead and pulled all of them locktited them again and retorqured.

Once I get it back out with some new tires and do some more tweaking of the front suspensions and anti-roll bar, the car should easily go a 5.80-90 on the 150. Then I'll pill it up from there..Goal is to go some mid 5.50's or faster next season.
