how is this even possible? doing the math,i was told the heads were milled down .120?
just asking?
so have you been running this combo all along, minus the afr heads?VVVV

No the motor I have now is a completely different motor (2nd thing you quoted) from the first one. The first one was just a stock 364ci short block LQ4 with a TSP 228R and some 853 casting heads that were ported and milled only .048.

I never really checked the CR of the first motor. Was basing it off what I was told by the previous owner of the heads and a few others when I bought the 853 heads. When using a factory MLS gasket and the stock LQ4 pistons..

This is the main build that got me to build an LS mustang! I was defiantly impressed with how the lq4 ran.

Right on Kevin. That is rollin! We would be a good race. My car goes mid 6.40's to low 6.50's spinning.

Your car is hooking really hard to the left. Were the tires check right before the run? Were they dead even? Or is something not squared in the rear end? It looked like a fun ride lol.

What kind of 60'? Was it a slick or DR?

It will be sick when it all comes together. Congrats man!

Thanks, yeah I'm pretty confident that it would go 6.3x if I put some motor plugs in it. I might play around next season with it to see what it will do..

Yeah I checked tires before every run..The anti-roll bar was loose on the drivers side for some reason..whoops..lol

The 60' for the pass on the video was a 1.27, on some wore smooth the hell out MT 28x10.5 slicks. Got two new sets for next season at home.

Yeah I'm really excited for next season to get here so I can get out and do some more testing, to get it lined out for the classes I'm running in next year..
