I don't know how in the hell I missed this, especially since it's a Canuck build!
Simply amazing. One question though, why did you decide to go a different route then the kinsler unit. I would think for what your doing it would give better results?

Its been a busy week and we have made some great headway on the assembly. We are just about done the wiring using the ISIS system - the front and rear Powercell boxes are in place and the wiring for all of the external systems is in place:

You can see the step-by-step installation on the OneLapCamaro website here - ISIS Intelligent Multiplex System Installation.
In addition to the wiring we have been making great progress in and out of the car. The new dash has arrived - we fitted it yesterday and finalized the installation today. Tomorrow we'll work at getting the Vintage Air vents and controls mounted and as soon as the Racepak dash arrives we'll get the instrument cluster together.

Tons more money than any of us could ever afford, but you put the money in great places with quality work. If that thing runs and drives like it looks, big props for a very tasteful restomod.

I was sure the pics didn't do the paint work justice (because they never really do - though it does look freakin awesome) now seeing the reflected head in the firewall I can kinda get a better idea of how good a job really has been done!!
Must look pretty mint in direct sunlight!

It's been a long couple of weeks and we have been making lots of progress but at this point there are some things that will have to wait.
What I can share is some of the good and bad that we have been dealing with as we try to get everything together...
The ISIS System has been powered up and, I have to tell you, is very impressive. The rear Powercell is complete and fully functional -

and is being controlled by the front mounted Mastercell control box. The diagnostic ablilities are awesome and make the system very easy to deal with. We fabricated a hinged mount for the Mastercell beneath the dash to give us easy access; I'm getting too old to contort myself like a pretzel to get under the dash -

Which we have been laying out -
pics? - nope
Despite all of the complexities that I had heard about Racepak dashes in the past, the new IQ3 seems to have solved many of the complications. Despite having some difficulties at first, once we had all of the pieces that we needed it was very straight forward.
On the down side, we had to start working on a new hood. I stole the NOS hood off my wifes '67 (if I don't start working on it soon there won't be a lot left of it) and Chris started stripping it.

Unfortunately, our carbon hood had a couple of problems that we just could not overcome. Fortunately, the steel hood is almost perfect -

It should be in paint by the end of the week.

The Penske shocks should be back by mid week and we should have it running before the end of the week.
With a little help from our friends....
