I have decided to make the change and go with an automatic trans. Take the guess work out of the hyd. ordeal !
I'm selling the whole changeover as a kit.
1. 88 Turbo coupe clutch pedal assembly with mod. F-body master cylinder and braided -4 an line to the slave cylinder.
2. Centerforce DFX clutch with about 1500-1800 miles on it, LS1 flywheel .
3.2000 T-56 trans (shifts like new!) and Pro 5.0 shifter.
4. I will also think about selling the trans cross member....don't know yet!
I would prefer a local pick-up, but I will ship at buyers expense . The trans is still in the car ,and your welcome to ride in it and test it out. $2000 for everything. (not including cross member)
Mike, PM me!

I'm Probably gonna go with a Performabuilt 4l60. I have thought about going with a 4l80 with the Transgo manual shift kit deal. I have a 98 PCM so I'm limited when it comes to the 4l80, and there is no way in hell I'm paying near $1000 for the TCI set-up.

cool, good luck with it. I scored a TCI controller by helping a buddy of mine install his APS twin GTO kit. He helped FAST design the interface for it and the EFI. Otherwise i would be going manual VB as well

Yeah, right now the 4l80 is an over kill. If I go the 80 route I'll probably just buy a "good" trans , stick the Transgo kit in it and be done. I would also come out cheaper that way.
I have a th350 with a manual valve body, good input shaft, and a trans brake. It's all I can do to talk myself out of putting it in.
I have a guy thats supposed to pick it up in a couple hours....out of sight , out of mind ....
Anyway, I guess when/if the T-56 selling I'll make the final call, but I am leaning towards the 4l60.
