Should update some more.

I did sell my wcch LSA heads, and I got into some trick flow 6 bolts. They are the genx255, they where setup by tooley, I had him soften the chambers aswell. I am very happy with the work

Since doing a fresh hone I decided to go to the fancy 625 studs, took a while to get. I wanted the clamp on a half inch but with leaving the meat in the head and block

Also using cometic MLX HG now since need 6 bolt. they better be all that my ls9 where. They are a 4.100 bore, 4 layer with raised stopper

Also learned not to run hardcore nitrous hardened ductile iron ring on a street machine. They beat up the bores perty good for only 4000 miles. I am on a total seal AP gapless now.

Sent my pistons in to line to line to have the skirts coated since my machinist really wanted to try it lol. Work looks good, almost interference fit to the block. .0065ptw without

Still be using the acl coated rod bearings as those where like new. Align hone had moved just a hair, also have coated ACL on the mains this time aswell

Every rod bearing was like this. Perty unbelievable

Here is just a pic of the engine mocked up, machinist wanted to take it to show

My turbo should be here shortly and have it back together. Been so nice out been killing me not having it together

Almost a shame to put it back in that crusty old Rx7. Where's the 2200lb tube chassis street car to match the fancy engine? I'll take that heavy old antique 80's chassis off your hands...

I haven't posted here in awhile.

I made my yearly visit to the track. Kind of a waste but was fun.

Last street legal of the year, very slippery but hey I got to race so it was fun

I could get off the line but past 200ft it was sketchy as F. Had to slow my boost ramp down to absurd levels to get down track and was still a pedal fest.

Made around 7 runs, the 4 I held it out the back where 8.5-8.7

To give you in idea of what we are talking here is a log from an 8.6@168 run. TPS, Boost, and RPM. Boost peaked at 23-24psi around 1000ft. Needless to say I was very surprised the ETs it was getting somehow.

I really wanted a 170mph slip and tried 26psi peak by 1000ft and nearly died

Vid of one

One of timeslips

Moral of story, it was fun yet pointless, but will fly on a good surface and more boost

I love this thing.

Its nuts that I have buddies with basically track cars struggling to run faster than 8.6/8.5 and your driving this beast on the regular. Love it.

Yeah I'm happy with it. I was on a 26x10 slick. This car will never go 7s lol. 8.50 4 life lol. I did want to let it buck at 30psi though out the back

Here is last pull I made before parking it and pulling the engine to go through it.

35* out, super mega short shift, that's called riding the converter lol. 22psi by 120

If your turbo blows up and sends **** down stream throw the IC away. I cleaned and cleaned the cooler and still injested material after

Two pistons had some bigger impacts, all had some. Couple valves and seats got beat up too.

Cylinders looked perfect other than where the trash got between the cylinder and piston

Very happy with how the bottom looked. The is bottom of #4 that always gets beat to death

2 year old rod bearings like new yet

Thrust just barely made contact even

Changing some things on the bottom end a bit, post when that crap shows up
