Default help with fuel!!!!

i have seen a picture of someones fuel tank and fuel reg. and how they made the fuel lines and the return line. can some one help me find it? the put the fuel reg. close to the pump and close to the tank...

We really would need more information on what your asking help for!. What type of hose, lines, regualtor, etc.. what do you think your problem is and what you are trying to do.

well i just got my fuel reg. from the auto parts store and was wondering what to use on the fittings. i know it goes, fuel line from the tank to the pump, from the pump to the reg., a return line back to the tank, and the other one goes on up to the fuel rail. i guess my question is what are people using for the fitting and what size... on the outlet side of the reg., do you just shove the fuel line in there and thats it? what size goes in there?

the port with the red cap is the feed from the pump, the one with the orange is the return, and the one in front goes to the rails. id mount it as close to the tank as possible. i have the russel "compression-style" AN adapters on mine and they work well. they also make quick-disconnect style AN adapters but ive heard of them popping off??

i make a GM style adapter for the outlet if youre interested

iam new to the an fittings. what is a russel compression style an adapter and how does it work. where do you get it? what did you use for the feed in and return clamps on the reg.? yes iam interested. can you shoot me a picture of it?

ok! now we talking, on the outlet side feed, is that 3/8 just pushed inside there?

The out let side uses a 3/8" tube that has bead on it. you can either use a old peice from a doner (which I did) or go to a parts store and get a Dorman item, it is called a double bead fuel line, it is 3/8 x 12 inches and the part number is 800-155.

has far has a doner car, does the camaros have these reg. . or any car with a 3/8 fuel line. where did you get yours

the GF822 is and was designed for a 99+ Corvettte, I have not seen any cross reference to any other car.!?

You can get them at any parts store or Chevy/GM dealer.

Try not to route your exhaust anywhere near your fuel system either. It tends to stay a bit cooler that way. lol
