staying n/a with a mild cam like the ls6 will make some nice power.
spend your $ on the conversion, make sure u get the wp, coil packs, and anything else that comes with it, if the trans cost more than 100$. not worth it. unless u plan on going with efi. trans is pcm controlled.
im going with th350. and sbc tq converter. im working on a budget setup
for 3rd gen swappers for acc..

edit: if it comes with a 700r4, it has been swapped to work with lsx.
all auto lsx came with 4l60e type trans.

Took about 30 sec. Try to do some leg work first or people will get frustrated w/you. Welcome to the site BTW.
u can however use a 6.0 flexplate with spacer and sbc 10in. tq converter. u will also need the b&m th350 swap for 3rd gen. allows use of stock tq arm, need new driveshaft. but prolly cheeper for u to find tpi 700r4 and use all the hardware, ds, tq arm, etc. will still need flexplate conversion though.
