Look up the build for the turbo fairmont on here. I think it got into the nines in the 1/4. Parish8 and others built it.

I agree. If its mainly a strip car build a nasty 6.0 and add spray as reqd. If you want to drive it on the street alot turbo it so you wont be fighting drivability issues.

I lilke the idea of this section, If I ever get my 96 camaro sold I would like to start a s10 project with a 6.0 or 6.2 carbed.

I think its a good idea...i voted yes! Im currently doing a carb'd 6.0 into my car as well and it would make it alot easier posting and searching for info!

Absolutely yes. My 99 z28 is being cleaned up of all unecessary wiring and such. Will be putting the msd ls ignition box and vic jr with 750 street hp carb. Underhood will only have minimal wires. Simplicity is a beautiful thing.

A carb LSx section would be awesome. I am building 2 carbd motors now; a L33 5.3 turbo blowthrough and a n/a carbd vette LS1. I have searched far and wide for info. Please make this good site better!

Yup it's a fourth gen and it's a CETA

Cool BTW what the hell does ceta mean?? I get the truck abbreviations like rcsb or ecsb but ceta... I have no ******* idea. A little help here. To make me seem like less of an idiot the last F-body I owned was an 86. LOL

Ahhh. Ok yea I know the ones. I see one almost every morning on my commute. I keep thinking I cant wait to get the Buick done so I can mess with this guy. Theres also one of those new GT500 stangs I see alot. It would be real fun to embarass that guy. poser... I always liked the white t/a with the anodized blue wheels. I think it was an indy pace car or something. If I remember right it had a houndstooth type interior like on first gen f-bodys. I used to work on one for a picky customer back when I was a GM tech. I was the only one allowed to touch it lol. He wouldn't even let the porter move it off the service drive.lol
