Dyno results I took my car to Detroit Speedworks today for a dyno tune. They use a Mustang dyno. It is supposed to be the most accurate one. Greg(the owner) really knows his stuff about tuning these cars. My motor is all stock except for the hotcam, S&P headers and flowmaster exhaust. He was able to get 320 hp/ 314 ft.lbs. at the rear wheels(close to 400hp at the flywheel). He was even a little suprised by how strong it ran. He also got it to idle quite a bit better. It feels a lot stronger. It sounded great on the dyno at 6000rpm's. It was a 300 mile round trip. I got over 22 mpg. Overall I am really pleased with the results today. The Speedworks crew did a great job. John
Re: Dyno results I love that car man. Your LS1 install looks factory, nice and clean. Any plans to modify that LS1 internally some more? I'd ditch the hotcam and get some ported heads and a more aggressive cam

Re: Dyno results Thanks Tony, No plans at this time to do that. My spending got way out of control just getting it this far. Down the road a little bit I'm sure I will be itching for more power but it will have to wait a while. I'm just going to drive it and enjoy it for now. John
Re: Dyno results VERY nice Camaro John! Question? What angle(45,60 degree?) & size are the AeroQuip hose ends going into the side of the water pump? And what size are the straight adapter fittings that thread into the pump? Absolutely BEAUTIFUL workmanship! Thanks, Ed

I just thought I would pop in here and say a couple of things.
First, very nice numbers on the dyno! I'm not sure if I agree with the "Mustang dyno's are more accurate" statement, but to each his own. With your numbers, I see 12 second time slipd in your future if you ever feel like hitting the track in that ragtop!
Second, I'm the guy that was "bugging" you through e-mail about your intake parts recently. Let me just say a big THANK YOU for your help as my intake is 100% done and functional.
