crank spacer preferance question
On the spacer question, I've used my gm spacer , flex and bolts for about 2 months now, and everything is great.
a 350, 400 4l80e, and 700r trans will work with this combo
i think if you have the dished flywheel, and not using a 4l65e, that will work with the hughes spacer bet flywheel & converter, but not 100% sure

Two questions: 1.) What application is the flat version used on, trucks? 2.) If I bolt on the flat version to an LS1 without a spacer, will the flex plate hit the cover plate screws on the back of the block?
I'm considering a special trans adaption where I would need to get the flex plate as close to the block as I can get it without it hitting something.
Thank,

My LS1 is from an '01 Camaro, and it has the dished flexplate.
I can machine a custom starter block if need be. Still wondering whether or not it will not rub on anything?
