Thanks for the nice words Clint. I think next winter project is going to be interior redo and possibly mini-tub, so not sure how much crazy custom fab will be needed with that
EDIT: Although once the rear wheel metal is moved and I have rims widened with wider rubber, I'll make myself a presentable 3" dual exhaust with tailpipes up and over the axle.. I guess that'll have to be your fabrication fix haha

I just spent the last 6 hours at work going through this thread (no clock to punch in Afghanistan lol)..Holy shat this thread is full of awesomeness. I have to give you props for tackling all this stuff yourself. Once I get back, I plan on investing in a TIG rig myself and I've been trying to rationalize dropping the coin on a mill too, I got ALOT of parts drawn on paper.

Thanks! I can say that the TIG was hands-down my best tool purchase ever. It is daunting and frustrating, but the reward of seeing the variety of stuff you can make and afterwards say "holy ****, I made that from scratch from nothing but raw stock" is pretty good feeling.. do it!!

FroJoe,
Didn't you get the Miller Diverson 165tig? If so, has it been reliable for you? I was thinking about getting this http://www.usaweld.com/TIG-Welders-s/26.htm ANy advice on what to look for when purchasing a tig?
thanks,
Jim

I actually got the Dynasty 200DX for it's compactness and namely for it to be able to auto-detect any inpt voltage, as I don't have 220V in my garage. And all the adjustable doohickies are fun too. Great machine for sure, and I would think the Diversion would be quite awesome as well.
