Okay, will take some footage, hopefully if I mount the gopro inside even with the shitty sound recording it will do the engine noises some justice.

You've put so much work into this car and it looks incredible. I'm glad it's starting to pay off. I wonder how long before you'll get the itch to do something even more awesome. I hope not too long because I really enjoy your work.

Thanks for the nice words Clint. I think next winter project is going to be interior redo and possibly mini-tub, so not sure how much crazy custom fab will be needed with that

EDIT: Although once the rear wheel metal is moved and I have rims widened with wider rubber, I'll make myself a presentable 3" dual exhaust with tailpipes up and over the axle.. I guess that'll have to be your fabrication fix haha

I just spent the last 6 hours at work going through this thread (no clock to punch in Afghanistan lol)..Holy shat this thread is full of awesomeness. I have to give you props for tackling all this stuff yourself. Once I get back, I plan on investing in a TIG rig myself and I've been trying to rationalize dropping the coin on a mill too, I got ALOT of parts drawn on paper.

Thanks! I can say that the TIG was hands-down my best tool purchase ever. It is daunting and frustrating, but the reward of seeing the variety of stuff you can make and afterwards say "holy ****, I made that from scratch from nothing but raw stock" is pretty good feeling.. do it!!

Well it keeps a new GTR in check, even with a missed 3->4 shift, and only 7psi boost.

Video with some boosty sounds to come.

I actually got the Dynasty 200DX for it's compactness and namely for it to be able to auto-detect any inpt voltage, as I don't have 220V in my garage. And all the adjustable doohickies are fun too. Great machine for sure, and I would think the Diversion would be quite awesome as well.

Glad you are back on the road!

WTF was the video with you moving the crank around? Is that the old setup that had problems? Scary stuff.

You might as well start cutting out the inner wheelhousings and add some tire! I hate to see it under full boost, sweet!

He's trying out ultra-low friction air bearings to free horsepower.

The crank video was the stock 6L setup that kept getting low oil pressure.. I wonder why?? Haha.. good thing I rebuilt the bottom end!

Here is a little clip of the "office space"...
