Default wow, this sucks...

So my S10 has been ready to start for almost a month now. Only thing I needed was a coil pack harness. Well I lost a couple of bids on ebay and couldnt find any on here. Well I finally found a set on here, I thought it was going to work, and I go to hook them up, and the connectors are wrong. So now Im back to square one. Either I find another set that will work, or I somehow buy 8 connectors and splice them on.

Sorry for the Rant, sometimes I get pissed.

You can get just the connectors here, http://currentperformance.com/Connectors/LS1_LS6.html if your pins will work, you're set.

Hmm, I was under the impression you couldnt buy these new...

Now just searching alittle, it seems there are different ones, according to the number on the coil, which I dont know off hand.

So far the part #'s I have are:

12582189

take a picture of your coils and the plugs you have, I'll see if they are the same or different as what I have in the garage is. I'm pretty sure mine have part number stickers on them still.

These were taken when I was asking if the F-body connectors were the same as Truck. The guy said they looked the same, but after I got them the F-body connector is bigger.

I will try to get some part # off them when I get home tonight.

I orderd the coil harness from my local dealership and it was the right one

Now I was putting the driveshaft on today and it seems to be too long, by about an inch.

Seems like it is always something. Hang in there you will get there. At least now you can start it up, you just can't drive it.

Thursday is supposed to be D-day...I have a few people who are comming over to watch the first start up. I hope everything turns out. This has been like 2 years in the making for me.

In a somewhat related note, is it possible to cut off a 1/2" to 1" section off the front of the driveshaft, the part that slides into the transmission?

Anybody know where to get a shorter trans yoke? Google searching has given me a bunch of places that sell stock yokes, but no shorter yokes.
