the dash unit is a vintage air piece, the lines are aeroquip lines and fittings i made up and mated to the sanden compressor which came with the bracket setup. the box on the firewall always made me cringe with all the space it took up and how ugly it was. i bought a kit from a company for shaving the firewall which included three laser cut pieces of sheetmetal that were welded over the existing. the kit was only like 120 bucks which was more than worth it because of how well it fit.

what headers are those? they look like a much better fit than the Doug's Headers I have...I cannot even get a plug wrench or socket onto the number 3 plug because the tube comes too close.
I had to buy a socket with a square end to put a wrench on and cut the socket short, but drill out the inside of the socket so the plug would go all the way through...

I used an Autokraft pan cause at the time, it was the most reasonable option for me. If I were doing it now though, I would just use the GM H3 pan. It would fit perfect. I used the BRP mount kit.

Very nicely done swap you have there. I only have one complaint and that is your air filter setup. I know it looks nice but you are losing an easy 15-25 hp pulling hot intank air from the radiator.

OMG.. a thread from the past .... back to life !.. LOL..
bbaysdon.. you should check out the FAQ/Sticky at the top of the section. for the A-Body build threads. A few options will be shown in the threads. are you starting a build thread on your Buick GS ???....
I used a 95 Impala Tank for my 71... that was the cheap way .. !
