Default My 72 Chevelle w/LS1,4L60(56K Warning!)

I wish I would have made a build thread to document the conversion, but didnt. I did get TONS of info from threads posted on here and could not have done it without a lot of you guys that have done it. If ya have any questions feel free to ask. Anyway, here are some pics of the car before and after:

Damn... that car is sweet!!!! Great job! Paint looks nice. Good execution! I always liked those early 70s Chevelles. I dont think ide turn one down if I found one and was in the market.

Have you driven it yet? How's she feel? Got anything done to the motor besides the obviously bolt on stuff?

Yea i have driven it a few times. It drives, runs, and handles a world apart from what it did when I had the first engine.(i did some suspension and brake mods while doing the swap) nothing is done internal on the engine. its all stock.

very nice. if my chevelle wasnt #'s matching, i would prolly consider doing an ls1 swap as well.

i just put those 71-72 ss wheels on my car so otherwise I would have totally been asking about the status on those...they are hard to find.

What AC setup are you using? I see you managed to get rid of the big ugly box.
