Djquik88,
I have watched your build, very nice car.
I see you are making some changes that will make the car quicker.
I signed up today so I could post a response to your thread.
I have been building a '90 Stang Fastback for the past 10 months.
The combination is the same as yours, 6.0/l92/TH350. I am running a carb.
I made the maiden voyage at the track(Maple Grove) last week.
The car went the time in my signature.
I was only spinning 6400 with the 3.73's, changing to 4.10's for this weekend.
Good luck with your build... It will be fast!

Damn DM, that's good stuff! What converter are you running? Tire size? If I can get into that 10.5-10.7 range on motor I will be happy. Please let me know how the 4.10's work out this weekend.

I love reading these threads. I quite a few steps behind you in my LSX stang, so I like to eyeball the ones here for ideas and such. I'll be curious to see how it runs. I'm running a 370, ported 243's, custom cam, and the vic jr, 4k stall with th400. I just started putting the k member in last night. I may have some questions further down the road if you don't mind.

Looking good and keep us updated.

DJ,
I am running an ATI Treemaster, it is a tight 8 inch, 3800 stall.
The shork block is stock LQ4 out of a 2006 truck. Now I wish I would have an aluminum block, 90 lbs would help.
The 4.10's are in, we shall see if the weather holds out.

Hey Dave,

what's your car weigh?

Looking good DJ....

Can't wait to finish mine. If I can stop changing my mind, I would be racing it already.
going really stupid with the engine now. 15:1 compression CNC TFS 235's and a huge solid roller.

not sure what the weight is, has a glass hood and hatch.
It likes the 4.10's, went 10.36/133.72mph tonight.
60 ft was soft at 1.56, need to work on that!

There were several Chevy powered Stangs at Cecil tonight, the fastest one had an LS motor and no nitrous........(mine)

The cam is a custom from Mike at Rapid Motorsports. Called the Dominator 2.

If you need a cam for this combination he can design a custom for your needs.
Excellent customer service, performance speaks volumes about his expertise.

Build a Carbed LS1 th350 91 Mustang GT

what oil pan and k-member are you runnig on these FOX mustangs?

Me and a buddy are putting together a LS1 with a th350 and 3500 stall... 224 cam 581/581 with RPM manifold and carb.

I need to get a oil pan? Will a Truck pan work?

I know we can use a after market K-MEMBER for about 250.00

But I have heard you can weld up mounts? Or use a 96-99 4.6 K-member?

Anybody have any input? Thanks

No . But I did have to make a little room for the shifter cable mounting bracket...no big deal though.

I'm trying bro....Between recovering from X-mas and freakin taxes, funds have been low. You will probably have a turbo'ed stroker done before mine.
