X2 Ive seen nothing but good reviews about them and Id like to pick up a set for my car too. Too bad UMI never finished R&D on their 3pt vert sfcs. They would have sold like crazy.

I'll get ya some pics this week. They are very well made and never had any bolts back out on me either. Took about 30 mins to install. Try to google his name and see if anything pops up and I'll see if I can find a reciept and a number for him.

I bought some NOS KBDD subframe connectors weld ins. I do not think they fit though. Were their different ones made for a vert?

Yes they are different and think the company is gone now. He made great subconnectors and wish I would have bought them for my 96z instead of bmr which did basically nothing.
Hopefully at some point in time some company will copy his design for the verts.

If someone has blueprints on the KBDD's, I can pass them over to my buddy who works with laser cutting , water jet, and access to a 5 axis CNC (if it is ready). He work with CAD and designs all kinds of crap like this, but he does not have a F-Body nor the time to figure out the dimensions; now copying them is a different story I am sure

Well I talked to my boy about this and he said that he would be willing to take a look into it; now we just need some blueprints or the actual piece to copy.

Just to let you know, he created his own line of Lambo hinges which has received its own U.S. and world patent, so he knows his ****!

Second line from the bottom in the description, "Will Not Fit Convertibles" (sigh).

If this doesn't work out and someone does indeed have the cad files or prints for them then it is possible I could talk to the company I work for and we could maybe make them. I work as an engineer for a decently large manufacturing company, but we mostly do work for turf, agricultural, commercial, and industrial companies like CAT, TORO, AGCO, CNH, etc. This would be very simple for us to make though, as we just completed a project with large weldments and fixtures like this would require.

If there would be enough interest, I could maybe convince them to do a large enough run to keep the costs even lower. Like I said, if it doesn't work out with this other member, and someone can get me the files/prints, I can work up a quote for these to see about how much we would charge to gauge interest.

I have a 99 convertible with weld-ins (BMR I think) but we have the setup that we could remove those and test the fitment of the new ones if all of this actually happens.

I don't want to get peoples' hopes up too much though with two people saying that they can maybe get it done. I'll let Devils Mentor and his buddy try to work it out first, I don't want to step on any toes.

Yeah CAD files would be the way to go as well on my end, but I really don't see anyone having those, lol. Hell if someone could get me HD pics with clear measurement references to go by, I am sure Eric can do it from that. But yeah, I agree with Nick, a CAD file with be ****!

Thank you for all of the kind referrals. Our weld in design reinforces the front rear lower control arm mounts plus welds to the floor in three different spots with 1/4" plates for support. The connectors themselves are made from 1 5/8" .120 wall dom steel with the 1/4 " plates. We have both colors in stock and ready for shipment. If you have any questions about this or any of our BMR products please give me a call.

Yeah, I know CAD files are a long shot, but figured I would throw that out there. Prints would be just as easy to work with for me, it would only take a couple hours tops to recreate the cad files. I'm afraid that they will have to be done from a picture or someone willing to take measurements of theirs, and then trial and hopefully limited error from there. Maybe we will all get lucky and someone knows someone close to the original maker of the DD's and can convince them to give up some details.

Hell, if someone who had the actual SFC and was willing to part with it for a week or so, I would be willing to set up an escrow that will hold the agreed upon $ value of the DD's until they were safely back in the owners hands.

The most I think we can hope for would be a detailed HD pic with actual in-pic measurements or something to contrast the size from and render to scale from there.

My buddy has the KB DD's and i, sure i can convince him to come over and let me get under his car and take a bunch of measurements. If i can do that i can transfer them to MS paint and then send you a JPG file with the dimensions of everything.
