Info on the Don Goetz SFC. I looked on Google, but only found people talking about them; nothing on where to get them or info on them.

As for the Diamond SFC, has anyone made any headway with these?

The first mod I did was skip shift eliminator. The second mod was subframe connectors.

The cowl/windshield would shake left and right relative to the cabin/steering wheel when going over bumps before the SFC's. I have an even stiffer suspension now and can only imagine the twisting would be worse w/out SFC's. Also, I read other peoples reports of dimples forming above the rear wheel well w/out SFC's.

these are what i used for my subframe stiffeners

they are cut into the rockers and welded up for structure, as a result the car is much more rigid just when using the jack and sitting in the car you can feel how much stiffer the chassis is

its 2x2x1/4 angle iron. you can pick up a precut 4' section from home depot for 20 bucks.

I got mine from work. 4' is perfect lenght for what is needed done. after that just slice a 1/4 slit and pressed the angle in place and stitch weld it every so many inches then stagger the other side.

Bump up for any new info on the 3pt sfcs. If theres no headway on getting them made, can anyone post up blueprints or designs or anything like that if you have a set of some of the old DD ones?

I wish we can get those Diamonds done! I can somewhat sell Fire in Hell; if someone can get me the contact # for Kenny Diamond I will see if I can work something out

But like I said before, if I could get someone to let me borrow a set to send to my Bro in OH./W.V. ( he lives on the state line ) then I could have him look them over to see what it would take to reproduce.

I have done this many of times in my 3000GT community since there is almost ZERO aftermarket for the 3S, so I am not trying to B.S. anyone; whats more, my Bro Eric has created his own line of Lambo hinges, they were the FIRST on the market with dual arms and the first hinges that would let you open your doors BOTH Lambo and OEM, in fact they were granted a patent so it is not like he is some backyard hack. Whats even more, lol, is that he and I have about 20 different inventions that we currently have with our attorney which we are seeking patents for. So this ain't new to him, lol, he just does not have 1) a Fbody and 2) the time to do the research; it is easier to copy that create when the project is not a personal priority, lol.

Oh and he/we have an L.L.C. Art of Design which is anything custom, but he is focusing on stuff like stain glass, or marble inlays for floor, in fact we just lost a Subway account to do a custom inlay in all the Subways stores He is working on a $12,000 sign for a huge church. He has access to water jet, Plasma cutters, 5 axis CNC, and he is an ACE at CAD.

Anyways, just a thought!

BTW - Here is a pics of a 3000GT with Eric's VLS System (Vertical Lift System).

Who seen The Fast & the Furious!? Might remember this one:

http://rides.webshots.com/album/214455472AfEfCp

This RX7 had VER $100K invested in it and it has Eric's kit.

Since the DD models seem to be as rare as diamonds, what about modifying another design? I had the UMI 3pts in mind. Since these are plentiful and inexpensive, maybe you could get a pair for non verts and see what has to be changed for the vert design. This way it could still work for connecting it to tq arm cross braces, etc.

Hey guys!

We just updated our Myspace website "Art of Design". Check out the pics. The EVO setup in the pics went to this years SEMA show as a display, the guy that is doing all the welding is my Bro Eric, the one that I said could make these DD if I had one to copy.

Enjoy the pics.

Default dd sfc

if brown went bankrupt the bank ons the patent. thats probably why there not making them now. (it's obvious they would sell to bad other brands aren't smart enough to figure that out) so somebody copy the dd and start counting your money baby.

I hear the guy was sick, but who knows. Like I said, if I could get a set I could see if my boy would produce them, but no one has stepped up.

I still say you would be better off getting a set of currently produced 3ptslike umi or bmr and see how they would have to be altered to fit verts. This seems like it would be a lot easier and you would be able to get ahold of a set A LOT quicker. Another thing you want to think about (and another benefit to checking out the above makes) is you will want it to work with pieces already sold like the tunnel mount torque arms & lcas.

If you are directing this to me, the problem with what you suggest is: 1) I don't live near my buddy, 2) he does not have access to a 4th gen vert for R&D and 3) he does not have the time to do the R&D even if it is adding to an existing product. This is why I keep say that if there were something to copy then I could probably get these done, but to create these from zero or even to add to something, it is not going to happen.

Ah ok, I was not aware of that. It certainly does complicate things doesnt it? If you ever get ahold of a set of KBDDs, I still think you should definitely make sure they fit with existing products like tunnel mount TAs and LCAs. Good luck finding a set. Im really looking forward to getting a set.

I take it youre referring to the 2pt and not a 3pt design?
