convertible boot question....yes I searched
Just curious....before I go buy one.....how sturdy is the convertible boot? I will probably put the car in a parade next fall and was just making sure if some (hopefully skinny) prom queen wanted to sit on it, would it break or crack? Has anyone had someone sit on it? Thanks!

My wife (120 lbs) has sat on the boot cover to get a better view as we drive slowly down some sightseeing roads in the country. She has most of her weight on the back seats from her legs but still is sitting on the boot cover. Sort of splitting the weight 50-50. No problems but I wouldn't put full weight on it.

I had 2 100 lbs girls on it for a parade and no problems
if i were to do it again, i would put a blanket under it while installing to
give it extra support.
you can always have them sit on the lip of the trunk lid

I would not trust them, but i have seen them used in parades and they seem to hold up.
