Default Fiberglass Convertible Tonneau Covers

These do not come available very often. Search eBay for item 230365171244. I have no connection with the seller nor do I have any idea the condition. They are a pain to store (I hang mine on the garage wall when it is not on the car) and if you encounter bad weather with them on the car, you're screwed. Some folks have asked about mine so I thought I would post this up. Tom

I thought about them before.

As far as the tonneau cover being PIA to disassemble and put on, yes i agree since the parade boot is just as annoying.

What are the dimensions for these from the trunk lid to back of the driver's seat.

They want $100 for shipping

It cost me less than $100 to ship my VFN 4' cowl ramair hood.

Yea but if you win it for $5 it would be worth it lol. It would be cool to have something like this but since I have the roll bar and my car is far from a show car it doesnt seem like a good investment.

A little bit hard to answer because the front flange slopes forward as it goes down. From the trunk lid area to where the front flange starts is almost exactly 36" (on mine). The slope forward might add another 1 to 1.5". to the bottom of the flange.

I leave mine bolted together all the time and (at age 64) can install it by myself with no problem.

If a manufacturer has everything needed for shipping, then the $100.00 shipping might be a little high. If you are doing a one time shipment, my opinion is that's pretty reasonable if you want the thing to arrive in good shape. The person I purchased from built a substantial wooden crate to protect them during shipping. My guess is he lost money on the shipping and I think I paid around $100.00 to ship.

I got my hood from a member here on the board, not from VFN; I did hunted down the best price myself, $98 to ship the hood.

Exactly. I tell people that I have an 18 year old mind trapped in a 64 year old body. It is going to be a race to see if I grow up or die first.
In the mean time, I love my red vert!

Here is another one in case you missed out on the last one. Search eBay for item 330355135787 It says it is located in Ellabell, Georgia. I have no connection with the seller nor do I have any idea of the actual condition. For what it is worth, mine also has a very small stress crack near the seat belt access hole.

Yeah saw that one too only thing scares me is he quotes $49 shipping then in fine print says it will be higher, so if the auction ends low you'll get nailed on shipping, I imagine.
