Default convertible switch cover

Anyone know where to get a convertible top cover? I am looking for the piece that the top switch goes in on the console....I stopped by my local GM dealer and they said they were discontinued.

gmpartsdirect.com has one shown for $9.63. However, the illustration shows only 1 switch hole, you are probably looking for a cover w/ 2 holes for TCS/ASR? I'd be bummed if you can't get that from a dealer, glad I picked up 2 a few years ago when I had a chance. You might be able to either fix the one you have or cut a 2nd hole in a new one. These parts are a POS design w/ flimzy "clips" on the back, very prone to breaking. I'd be tempted to try gluing some paper-clip type wire to the back to function as a clip, or to reinforce the broken clip (assuming you've been able to find that piece).

Mine only has one opening for the top switch, however I drilled a hole in it for the line lock I glued it last night with some gorilla glue, we'll see if it holds. Do you by chance have a part #? Thanks for the info

Angry

If anyonw knows where I can get a new cover with both switch holes I would be very interested. It seems that they are discountinued, A few months ago I had my GM dealer do a national search and no one had them. I think the cost new when available was like $5 and some change. I missed an auction on Ebay that had one but it came with the complete console. They guy would sell me the cover seperate for $35 but I thought that was alittle steep. The whole console ended up selling for like $75....man did I miss that deal.

One of these emblem vendors on here needs to make them, they already make covers for them, now they need to make the entire bezel. The 2 holes are indeed no longer avaible. I got mine back when I could.

Well the plate for the top switch is on national back order, and GM does not have a date when they will be availiable. I am curious if the TC plate for a trans am will fit a camaro. I went to the Pontiac dealer on Friday, he gave me a list of dealerships up and down the east coast who actually have that part in stock. He said he could order it for me, but he would have to mark it up $15.00-20.00. So intead he gave me the list Nice guy. I will let you all know how it works out.....hopefully I have a new plate this week....

UPDATE: Just a heads up for anyone who still needs these covers: I had p/n 10411284 on order with gmpartsdirect.com since this thread started and low and behold I got a shipment notification yesterday from them, since this is the only item I had on order it must be these covers, YMMV
