Default ls1 vert curb weight?

I've been reading threads on here in regards to the actual weight on our verts. I've been on several different sites and one of them mentioned that the 6 speed t top cars are just under 3500 lbs and the verts are just over 3900 lbs. I have a 00' ss vert m6 and it doesn't feel like its 3900 lbs even with me in it and I'm 235lbs (muscular weight) jk haha. Anyone on here have any numbers on their verts?

Trans Am convertibles come in at 3514 pounds according to Standard Catalog of Firebird by J Gunnell. The Camaro should be pretty darn close, maybe a tad lighter without all the headlight equipment.

With you in it she should be closer to 3700lbs. 3500lbs is probably without a driver.

Ain't that the truth! I think the only chance we got is to find a 1le strip car and start cutting/chopping your way to under 3000lbs!

Just to rub it in a bit more.. the 3rd gen's were around 3200lbs. and the verts. about 3300lbs. WHYYYY???!!!!!!

LOL obZidian tell me about it man, although I do feel a lot better when I see the curb weight on the 10ss and the ss vert. The vert is like 4200 lbs or something close. Crazy!

Weighed mine the other day on base, pretty well optioned car from the factory with most of the details of the car in sig...3620 lbs with a full tank of gas, no weight reduction at all (still has spare tire/jack), and nobody inside...not bad at all, means with less gas I could be in the 3500's

@ 00Camary: you mentioned no power top. Does that mean some came without or you removed the hydraulics?
