Decided to skip the Mods and just get a new car
After 9 F-body cars I went to the darkside, at least it is still a 'vert.

She's a 2012 GT Premium 6-spd. I hated to do it and still feel a little guilty but it was time to move on. Now hopefully we get some nice weather soon.

Congrats. 9 fbodies huh!! I would probably do the same. I almost sold mine as well. The only thing that's keeping me getting rid of it is don't want another car payment and how easy it is to do the maintenance. Nice color as well.

Yes. It is a 2012 GT Premium with the Brembo's and a few other options.
I looked at the Camaro 10 times. I really wanted to buy a new Camaro, to stay a Chevy guy etc, but the 5th Gen never grabbed me. It felt large and over grown, I hated the dash, and the tail lights. I do think the Camaro has a nicer ride and that the interior is made from higher quality materials. But in the end it just didn't make me want to spend my money.
Maybe if they build the 6th Gen on the ATS platform I'll be back.
Until then I'm loving this 5.0. It feels just like an old Fox in the seating position and outward view and the snappiness. I'm going to break her in a little but I'm dying to really lay on it and hit that 7000 rpm redline.
Haha, it was shortly after you got yours I started shopping for a car, hmmmn.

that's not the chevy gods....that's the shitty road maintenance you've got over there. it's nearly as shitty as the road maintenance here in the prnj.

Can't fault anyone for wanting to jump to our rival brand if it has a performance advantage! Ford's 2012 stang obviously has enough grunt to sway potential 5th gen for guys to jump ship.
It's the best bang for the buck that usually win people over! Ford has done just that with the new Mustang compared to the latest Camaro SS.
Nice ride by the way!
