Roll Bar install underway (pics)
Roll Bar install underway (pics) Finally received my Wolfe Cromoly 4pt roll bar last week and started the install this weekend. The pics are from yesterday when I was at the point of drilling the floor. This afternoon, I got everything bolted up tight and the carpet back. This week I will shoot some more pics when I get the back seat back in. The install was pretty straight forward. Had to work at bolting the rear bars to the seat belt mounts, but after some pushing and pulling, they lined up. Got lucky on one bolt, it was right over the top of the KB sub frame. Had just enough room to squeeze the nut in between the floorboard and the sub frame. Carpet cutting was ok, but need some glue to keep the carpet down tight against the bar.

As far as I know, a 4 point is not NHRA legal, but since I and a Road Coarse nut, I don't need a 6 point. It's also a whole lot easier for the wife to get in on the pass side. Same for me on the drivers side.

Probibly a day. I take my time, so I spread it out over two weekends. But the bolt-in is really straight forward.

Same idea with the duct tape. It worked ok, but since I went up the seam that has the bent (crinkle) in the carpet, it pulls together pretty well. Biggest thing is who and how to cut the floor mats to lay flat but get them seamed at the same time so they look factory. Whats your plan with the floor mats?
