If only my room mate didn't fill up the car after he borrowed it
I have set of 3.73's waiting to replace the current 3.23's in the stock rearend. And Have Patriot 5.3's waiting to be installed..............I want that elusive ten second club.

(goodyear eagle F1's on front @40psi)

On all runs from April 1st/2nd I switched to 15inch Prostar Drag rims. 275/50/15 MT ET Street drag radials (best time was @14psi). And MT 8 ply Skinnies up front @40psi

60' wasn't printing out on the timeslips....
curious what my times say about that 60'

Hey, have you had any weight reduction done or stock weight? Have you weighed yours?

Awesome times by the way.... good way to finish off the last few runs at the track!!

Thanks for the compliments guys As for weight reduction the only reduction on the car that night was
removed spare tire & Jack
removed passenger seat
removed rear seat and rear seatbelts.
replaced stock 17" LE rims with 15"Prostar drag rims

No other weight reduction steps were taken. I put a 6 point wolfe rollbar in
mild steel which added about 80 lbs........ not sure how much weight
reduction helped but I think broke about even with stock weight.
heres a couple pics of it at the Motor Trend Auto Show begining of April here in Honolulu.
April 1st/2nd was racing and burning out then had to have the car dropped of
at the convention center 3 days later on Wednesday.

stock injectors and pump.

On my second 4l60e trans. billet corvette servos, alto clutches this time around. Fried my first one at 12,000 miles and a yank 3000 TC. Thats why I steped up to the Yank SS3600. This is a daily driver and in stop & go traffic has mannerisms of a 3000TC. 2.55str so i think its the right compromise between big stall and driveability.

with my old setup I had right around 465tourque,(dont remember exact numbers from that dyno) not sure if that helped with the demise of the 4l60e. I used to spray 100-125shot ALL the time. I was racing 3 times a week 10 passes on average a night so I was extremly hard on the trans. "bottle testing" on the highway. Hotlapping at the track. Racing in OD vice drive. No external trans cooler with the TC. Raised line pressure. Driving in OD going up hills (live in hilly area) instead of drive, downshifting all the time(no manual valevebody)...........hard driving combined with nitrous and doing all the things they say we are not supposed to do with an automatic.
heres some quote material:
"Mine crapped out because I was driving like a dumb@ss". I had to learn the hard way.
