I have the Jet-Hot (Hooker style) long tubes and Y into
the "factory" CME I-pipe. My X-brace had to go away
(as I mentioned in the other thread). Jet Hot Y hangs kinda
low but tolerable.

Just did Pacesetter L/Ts and TSP Catted-Y. had to get rid of the x brace but that was it really. Didnt see how it was any different than an M6 car or T-top car?

I have Edelbrock shorties feeding into a Bassani ORY and had to remove the bracing on my M6, never even noticed a difference on it as far as rigidity.

the x brace is not a neccessary piece, and it seems if u get an off-road y u might be able to keep it if u wanted.

SLP's, had to split the Y and reweld it to stop the pipe from banging on the floor (added the 4" merge at the same time). I tossed some silly brace pieces too.

Pacesetter 's here, and a 3 in. catted Y-pipe I removed the x brace as well. I dont see how you can use a 3in Y-pipe W/O removing it. Anyone have pics?
