well i really dont think this will damage anything, if you put the cats back on everything should go back to normal. also there is companys that make high flow cats you can put them on instead.

Well all of that can be fixed with a tune. The reason your SES light is on is because the Rear O2 sensors are reading that the Cats are not doing there job, since they are missing. You should check out the external engine section there is all kinds of stuff about not having cats. oh and by the way putting any cats on there besides the stockers will leave you in pretty much the same boat, SES light will still be on and you will still have some smell and it will still be louder than before.

The other thing is you really wont mess anything up other than the atmosphere and you will be running a little rich but not enough to really hurt anything.

If you get high flows don't make your decision till you tune it cuz you will still have that smell that is aggravating you and the SES light will still be on.

No cats! Get an x-pipe made and dump it at your rear, no mufflers, just a straight 3" pipe. The sound is great, the smell is awesome, less weight more power.

You can also get rear O2 sims with the high flow cats and that should help the pcm problem.

if you didn't update your tuning, you now know the source of your problems.

You might want to dig a little deeper and not blame it on
two missing bricks. Like maybe one of the sensors got left
unplugged, or something.
