Default 139 mph in the 1000ft. 118 mph in the 1/8th full weight convertible

i went to the track last weekend to try out the new converter on my new turbo setup footbraking, (i need a trans brake) i went 6.55 at 118 in the 1/8th, and 8.20 at 139 in the 1000 ft. the car has alot left, i just need a brake, this is still a full weight car with a full cage. my 60 ft was 1.70's on very good

MPH is amazing. do you have a transbrake? You need to get that 60' down.

what rpm are you turning at 139 mph? With the 4.11s are you at red line at the 1000' mark?

the motor is a 408, i'm about to put a transbrake on it, i have the rev set at 7000 and it doesn't hit it so by the time i cross the 1000 ft. i would say it is reading around 6500,

thanks for the compliments everyone, i will keep posting updates

Lets see 5,280' each mile divided by 4 1320' 1/4 mile divided by 2 660' ='s the 1/8 mile. That's strong

Whats that post supposed to mean?

I know it sounds strange but the track he ran at is a 1000' track. Meaning basically 3/16 of a mile.

Jolee you need to get the chute put on it too. I told Danny we needed to get one on the S10 before we tried to run it the full 1000' (if we do even) because the shutdown was getting short in the low 130s in my Lightning.
