I have had 3 fbodys...2 of which were/are highly modified. Also had a 02 Z06 w/ bolt ons and a clutch. I miss my z06 a lot! Its a much better car all around compared to the fbody. I went back to the fbody for money reasons. I would give up my 402 Camaro for a modded vette in a heart beat!

Following kept stock:
1979 Z28
1981 Z28
1986 Iroc
1992 Ralley sport

1998 TA LS1 Heads/cam/headers approx 390 rwhp
2001 TA LS1 heads/cam/headers/all other bolt ons/cage/moser 431 rwhp

2007 C6 Vette LS2 stock but I just got it

Loved the TA and Camaros for the street and 1/4 mile track but the C6 Vette is a great daily driver (31mpg highway) LS2 400hp and handles way better than any fbody I had.
Planning on making it a top speed road course car.

If you get the vette just do bolt ons and dont try to drag race it. Ive broke more drivetrain parts trying to than I like to remember. They drive better and handle better than f-bodies. For a daily driver I would pick the vette any day, but if you want to drag race then get f-body all the way or youll be paying for it later.

Not if he's using DTE components on the rear.
