C6 Seats Installed In My C5 I finally finished installing the new seats in my 02 Coupe. I had the base seats in the car and wanted something better. I was going to convert my base seats to sport seats but decided on something else instead.
Earlier in the year I drove a C6 Z06 and the only thing about the car that I really liked were the seats. I ended up buying some C6 Z06 seats to install in my C5.
I wanted the installation to look right so I took some extra time and figured out how to get the C5 seat motors/electronics to work with the C6 seat adjustment switch. It took a little digging to find the correct Delphi connector body and terminals (GM wanted $50 for it and I found it for about $4).
I still need to re-skin the seats to get rid of the Z06 logo.
On to the next winter Corvette project…

I think he meant to say he rode in the new Z06 and the only thing his car was missing was the seats. Looking at his sig don't think he really is going to be impressed by it.

Other than the exterior styling and the fake metalic finish on the dash the C6 Z is a fine car and is fun to drive. It just didn't impress me compared to what I have.

May I ask where you got the seats from? I did some research on this conversion and all of the used seats I found were $1500 +.
Also, can you give us the adaptor part number?
I, too, love the C6 seats, and this is something I'd really like to know more about.

I got them off of eBay and paid $1035 including shipping.
It isn't an adaptor. It is just a Delphi connector body and terminals. I'll post the info when I get home today.
