Does anybod make C6 headers that work with the stock cat-back?
I need to take out the stock exhaust manifolds and put in headers that bolt up in the exact same place, I think to the midpipe.
I am swapping an LS1 into a Jaguar, and the C6 cast iron manifolds almost fit. If I can rotate the flanges 90 degrees, they will be perfect. Cast iron is very tough to weld and I figured that if I got a set of tubular mild or stainless headers, it would be much easier to cut off the flange, rotate it 90 degrees, and weld it back on.
Thanks! -Dave

The car is an XJ6 sedan, so no convertible. Hopefully it will have some ***** though.
Oh well. The interior of a convertible jag with the reliability and power of an LS drivetrain would be a sweet combo. Good luck with your project.
Most longtubes will come with an X-pipe that connects right to the stock cat-back.

I did want to do a turbo setup, but I doubt it's going to happen. For now, I just want to get it running and start working the bugs out of it. I am still using the low-comp shortblock (8.5:1) so it will be perfect for a supercharger. Magnusen has some nice Eaton-based kits that will fit under the hood of an F-Body and a GTO. I would like to go that route once I get it running and get some more cash scraped together.
Right now though, I just want to start driving it and enjoying it.
