I am not 100% sure on this, but doesn't the 2009 have a new trans or something. t56 out tr6060 in. 2008 might have it as well. If memory serves, people are saying it shifts smooth as hell.

Fadi's 2006 bone stock c6 zo6 was the fastest one I ever ran against. I had beaten other 2006's but Fadi's was FAST.

Much more interesting than peak numbers would be the change as measured on the same dyno, under the same conditions by the same operator.

That's what dyno's are for.

The 08s and up have some changes. The trans is a bit different. Don't know if that "robs" em or not.

Here's one we did recently.

The new trans in 08+ is supposed to be less "knotchy."
The base HP difference between years is a frequent topic of discussion on Corvette Forum. The general consensus is that the stock 06 was tuned with a higher output from the factory. The unofficial story is GM "detuned" it 07 and after for drive-train viability concerns. The bone-stock cars on the Fast-List on Corvette Forum support this. But if your car is a later year and "tuned" it is probably the same. I say the 06's are faster (but I drive one).
