My First Drive in my C5
Well fellas i now know what you all mean by the differences between the c5 and fourth gen fbody is! The ride and feel is totally different! Even in stock form it feels stronger than my lightly modded TA with gears. The TA seems a bit more responsive initially, don't know if its the shift kit or the mild intake mods. I am anxious to line them up but i don't want anyone to drive the other, lmao. I'm still getting to know my ride and have a long haul back to North Dakota to get familiar. Do you guys recommend pouring a little seafoam in the tank? Any other pointers? I THINK I'M IN LOVE......AGAIN!!!!

i know exactly what you mean by the differnce, i thought the same thing on my way back up from florida. Bought the same thing 2000 c5 a4 just with a borla catback. As for seafoam use at your discretion, i hear to many good things and to many bad things.

Day 4 of driving and still loving it! I'm cruising from North Carolina to North Dakota and so foar it's been a f@cking blast! Did a lil cruise with some rich older guys driving Maseartti's, BMW 645???, and a few Porches. Had to rep the american muscle, but man those are some bad *** cars!

I know exactly what you mean! I don't know if its because it hooks better or the lighter weight, it just feels better. If i try doing that with my TA off line she will peel out for a good 20 to 30 ft. The mods are the Vette are going to stay conservative, cold air, exhaust, tb, and a tune. I think i'm going to turn the a into a monster!

All I can say is don't baby it, drive it like it's stolen, and make sure it sees the street. If you don't have a thick buildup off rubber on both front fenderwells, you're not driving it hard enough I'm on my second c5 and I absolutely love the handling/power/response of the car. I've had both an auto and a manual, and I'm not quite sure which one I like more.
