I tried searching over on CF but there's not much there. Anybody run a poly mount on their C5/C6? The pfadt ones are like $225 and then there's a different brand on the auction site for like $80. Seems to me if they both fit the same and they're both polyurethane then they probably perform about the same...what do you guys think? $225 seems stupid but then again it's the vette tax at work.

As long as they are the same material... then it shouldn't matter. Go with the cheaper if they are the same durometer an stuff (basically a measure of how "bouncy")
I have solid steel engine mounts out of necessity and because I didn't know there were any performance mounts out yet.

I custom made my solid mounts out of steel chunks we had lying around in the shop. They sit on top of mouse-pad like and just as thin material to ensure it's smooth interface with the engine cradle. Had to have mounts thin enough to clear hoses.
The vibration? I can't tell a difference, if anything the camming action is more pronounced and smoother in it's oscillations. I don't feel anything except in the twisting action of the entire car (if that makes any sense, aka. there's very little other action I'm feeling). I think it's more in the tune to make sure that the engine power is a smooth delivery so as to remove some of the harshness.
