How many miles is to many on a z06?
Just wondering how many miles is to many on a 06 z06. i see alot of them fro sale around 40k or less. but they all have 40-60k miles on them. I know ppl buy these cars to drive them so i know that buying one isnt going to be like buying one from a grandma. I'm just curious on the miles.

The avarage per yr on vehicles run 12-15k miles but this car should normally have a lot less since most guy's (like myself) don't use them for daily drivers. Example, my car is an 07 and it just turned 7k.
If they have a lot of miles then you can almost expect that some of those miles rough driving...

Depends on how the car was driven. However nobody buys these cars to baby them around, unless you get dumb lucky to find one from an older man or woman.
When I look for a C6Z I am looking for maybe a 06-07 with 25k miles or less. Right now my Z06 has 9463 miles on it. I would rather have a lower mileage one.

There are several high mileage Vettes running around. Several C6Zs used as daily drivers. These aren't like the C5Z. They are much more comfortable, IMO. Of course, the '06 is the most raw of the C6Zs (no sound dampening, for instance). But it's still a nice car.
40K is not too high, IMO. I would recommend changing the valve springs and the rocker arms on an '07.
I love my C6Z. Best car I have ever owned and driven (so far).

Depends on your comfort level.
Just make sure the car was driven and not poo-poo'd around; miles be damned. Nothing worse than a car that's driven well below it's intent. They create civics for that.

Starting in 07, C6Z's got a 5yr 100k mile powertrain warranty. As long as the car is stock and an 07 or newer, I see no reason why you wouldn't go for a higher mileage car.
