01 camaro to 04z06 what can i expect in the build quality besides the obvious handling/suspension.
Is the interior and over all build quality different than a fbody?

They have no insulation at all. I put a little dynamat and paint-on stuff in the back and it reduced the road and wheel noise that made me want to slam my head on the steering wheel on long trips.
Watch out for basic modifications that suffer heavily from the corvette tax. Other than that, just make sure you have fun!
Build quality seems to be a little better in my Z but the vette is a much better engineered car. The vette has better seat leather but is still not up to par compared to German stuff. The vette chassis is much more solid but again, it was designed from the start to be as such. A lot of plastic in the vette interior/exterior just like an F body. F body feels more "raw" to drive, vette feels refined and much more composed when the road twists. I like them both alot!
The interior is a tiny bit nicer but basically made up of the same cheap stuff. It doesn't look bad if it has been taken care of and eagle one nano protect can give the cheap plastic a nice matte finish. Body panel fit and finish is much better though.

C5 interior is insulated a little bit better but overall i think the fit and finish is the same. The pleather used on the seats is nicer but other then that it feels like the same thing. GM isn't known for their interiors and they didn't break any molds on the C5, thats for sure

I looked into an 03 eb zo6
Although I wasn't expecting a Mercedes Benz s class interior ,but I felt it wasn't much up an upgrade from my camaros plastic interior.
So I will be looking into a c6 with a z51 package.
