Big Boy Play Time Again!
Was I really flat wrong for locking? https://ls1tech.com/forums/corvette-...w-z-hooks.html
We didn't get a chance to run any test numbers, but with the GTR running Z51 gearing, its first two ratios are nearly 23 percent shorter than the ZR1's, which either more than makes up for its 23 hp/26 lb-ft or more likely makes it just that much more difficult to put the power down (even with these awesome tires, these cars are grossly traction limited).

I think he is saying he raced a zr1 that started in 2nd, and he started in 3rd from a 75 mph roll and won? Trying to translate.
Hey OP, do you remember the PM's I sent you about posting crap that people won't undertand? I was trying to help you but I guess you didn't heed my suggestions. Hence everyone ripping on your post. How about you edit your original comments and say what you really meant to say. Good luck !!
HAPPY NEW YEARS to everyone !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

The only people who are commenting on this post are the ones who it doesn't pertain to. Others who it pertains to are not commenting and that speaks for itself. Again, I wouldn't want my cars short gears with any other ZR-1+ power level, except may be a centrifugal since there power ramps up. That's what I said and the article above validates that, period!!!!!!!!!!
I can play with the big boys and many of you can't!

So you are saying you exploited the sweet spot of your car that you found based on its gearing and power band. Then found a range that you could race and beat a ZR1 in?

Because of my gears I have to run my power under 450rwhp total until 75mph or I risk turning the car around on the freeway, as I have almost done several times. At 75mph, by experience, I can finally lay down ZR-1+ power in 3rd when it's warmer. I would probably need the 8lb I commonly have to do it right though and it would happen so fast it would almost not matter and they would both seem really sweet. But, I could play! Lambo's look out!

Have you ever taken your car on a road trip and ran a couple tanks through it just to get there? If so where did you drive from and what was your destination? I'm really curious about this mpg claim, but then again my n/a 402 makes 541 rwhp 505 rwtq and still can get 27 mpg, but you have to baby it or she takes big drinks !! 65 mph in 6th gear with the cruise control set is the key to get every last mile from a gallon of gas with my setup. Keep posting just keep it simple. Glad you car runs so well man.

I am glad one person made sense out of this post. I am used to reading posts making no sense on say honda-tech but really c'mon? Most people on this board are old enough to know how to make complete sentences.
If you really fail that hard at making any sense..just stop using the Internet. Its painful for others to read.
