My new daily driver! curious to know what you think! okay so i have been looking for a crappy truck to drive everyday so i dont ever have to drive my vettes unless i just want to to avoid any kind of damage and putting miles on them.Everything i found was crap and too expensive and quite frankly just didnt interest me..So instead of a truck i bought a black 2004 mustang cobra!Believe me i am gm through and through and i LOVE my fast *** vettes!!!!!However, i think this is gonna be one fast bad *** daily driver that i can mess around with while my vettes are chilling at the house....All boltons and a little pully and that bitch is gonna be bad!!!Im just curious to know what you guys think about this move???And i know this is the vette forum but if you guys have any suggestions on mods feel free to chime in.And remember the stang is always gonna be my vettes bitch lol....Let me know what you think, will throw some pics asap! matt

Hey, an 04 Cobra is cool ****, IMO. They're great cars. That's a nice daily driver. Although, cops are going to be on your *** 24/7. If you're chill with that, then it's all good.
I wouldn't mind an 04 Cobra. I don't really like their interior, but I can work with it.

Tho not to sound like a ***, but how in the hell do you go from getting a cheap beater truck/car to a sweet 04 cobra. Thought you didn't want to beat the crap out of a nice car by making it your daily driver. It's your money and all but just thought I would ask you that.

Because im crazy i guess...I just really dont see myself ever being able to drive something slow anytime, i just dont! And what better car to tear up and beat around than in a mustang!

How long do you guys think it will take for the car to be delivered from san diego to sc...Carmax said 28 days but it usually gets delivered sooner...Im thinkin 2 weeks maybe?????

Well Tyler yes i am gay and that is exactly why i am friends with you because i think you are cute! Just kidding i am not a ***!!!!!!! But just in case you are curious i just had my car finished up and tunes at Pro Dyno in Charlotte nc area and made 447 rwhp and 486 ft of torque 2.75 pulleys mac long tubes off road x borla stinger cat back jlt cold air(piece of **** by the way)...Less than what i was hoping for but i hit the sound right on the money, by far the best sounding car i have ever owned period!!!! Clay bared and polished to hell completely detailed and lowered it looks pretty damn good for a black used car....My nitto nt-05 drag radials will be here tomorrow and off to the track in which i will post times...(unless they are to bad)
But after playing around in the cobra for over a week and driving my z06 today, you will be pleased to know that no matter what anyone says or will tell you there is no way in hell that car could ever hang with a modded z06...SORRY!!!!!! No comparison to a vette but it is fun as hell to drive everyday, what a treat it is to hop in a vette!!!! GM is king and rules....The cars and the people!

I bet that Z06 would drag that Cobra down the track and highway with 400lbs less and 100 more whp! The question is, can that Cobra drag Tyler down the track or highway? Hahaha
