I have it but its not installed yet. I feel that its better made than the Vararam which is on my car now.

I can post pictures if you'd like to see it inside and out.

This is just my opinion, but...
I feel those type ram air setups tend to rob the radiator of some of the air it would have benefited from otherwise. The Varam does not do that.
I have a Blackwing and I have the fog light area drilled out and Z06 screens in place so that I am getting cold air from outside of the engine compartment without compromising the radiator air flow. Same as a Z06, just wish GM would have done that to begin with on all the C5s.

I'm using a Breathless Performance Vortex system. I'm quite happy with it. I just thought that it was a better design than the Vararam.

I have had the MTI system on my car for more the three years and it is a good system. I like the ease of which it installed, but my only gripe would be trying to replace the air filter when it gets dirty. I'm the only vette in my area that kept this system, everyone else went to either the Vararam, or Halltech's new system. I didn't see much of a horse power difference between the three because they all suck air from about the same area.
Hope this late post might help a bit on your decision.
