Default Convertible Corvette weight ???

Does anyone know what the convertible Corvette weight is???

For a C5, curb weight of about 3,208-3,240 pounds with an LS1 V8. Varies a little with the year.

Empty tank, I'd guess around 3050 to 3100.

Mine has weighed as little as 3090 and its a coupe.

So the convertible realy dosen't make to much of a difference???
I had the convertible T/A before and that monster was weighing in at almost 3800 lbs.

C5 chassis was designed as a convertible. It weighs less than a Coupe because it doesnt have the back glass. Also Corvette's do not have a power retractable top, which saves a lot of weight over an f-body.

3248 for the vert stock
3214 for the coupe stock

I think its close enough anyway's everyone has been tellling me between 3200 and 3300 lbs.

The weight differential on similiar optioned vert vs. coupe is ONE POUND .

3245 vs. 3246 (vert)
