I wish I knew. I dont know much of anything about the years of the pieces used to get it to the shape of when I bought it. The best I can tell is that it was a coupe frame with the 2000 FRC drivetrain, and a convertible interior.

Are you looking at putting boost in that car or going N/A?

Staying N/A, its going to be my DD for the most part. Only things that I am doing performance wise is a x-pipe, Borla catback, and K&N FIPK. I got a great deal on the FIPK from a friend.

I have an LS6 cam if you are interested in a little bit more power with stock drivability.

Yay for updates!
I know its been a bit. I am still waiting on 2 loads of parts in the mail to get the front end together. I also found out that I have couple/vert weather strip, so that is one of the loads I am waiting on. Thanks to Dino's Corvette Salvage and GMpartshouse.

The car is on jack stands right now. I got new wheels, and one of them has a ding in it, so I am waiting on another wheel. Love the holidays. They are Hyperblack C6 reproductions in 17's and 18's, wrapped in the GY Eagle F1 Supercars.

I got the roof glued and bolted down, and the rear end going on it. Also, I picked up a set of black micro suede A4's, HID Fogs, c6 ZR1 manifolds/cats/x-pipe, Borla Touring Catback, and MOMO Wheel. Here are the pics:

P.S. The pics at the end are better, since I got a new phone (EVO 3D)

The rear end should be finished by this weekend, if the parts store is open, so I can get bulbs. I'll post some better pics in better light soon.

One quick question: Does anyone know about a HUD vs Non-HUD windshield. I have seen the 2 different ones on the internet. Will a HUD still work if the car didn't originally come with a head? I have the dash, and cluster for it in the car already.

Yes a non-HUD windhield will work just fine. The HUD diplay just won't be quite as crisp.

I know you all have been waiting for updates, so here is another small installment to my build. It's ALWAYS something with her. She is a true bastard child. I am truly learning these cars inside out and backwards. I think I have taken everything apart and put it back together at least 3 times.
I don't know what happened, or necessarily how it happened. It's all a blur of hours of research, working on her to the wee hours of the morning, and even a couple overnight shifts. Here is what I have done so far:
Finished up the rear end

Installed my micro suede Corbeau A4's with their 3pt retractable harnesses. Went this route, since there is no driver side airbag, and I am disabling the passenger side.

Here she is with the doors on her and the radiator, and AC condenser.

Nuff Said

With her bonnet on

Here is my C6 ZR1 exhaust that goes into a Borla Touring catback

SHE LIVES!!! , This was a huge relief, I had never heard the motor run before. I did find out that the alternator is noisy and the Tstat is stuck. Those will be replaced soon. I still need a banjo bolt for the front brack caliper so the brakes aren't bled yet.

Finally, here is a walk around the car. Please excuse the noisy alternator.

I still need to figure out my situation with my MAF. I have a 01 to 04 MAF, and bought a harness to adapt to the 5 pin connector, but the slots are on the wrong side of the connector. I am working out a few more odds and ends as well, but it looks like 2 or 3 weeks till she is on the road.

PS sorry for the size of the pics. I am still learning my app for my phone. Hold ctrl and scroll your mouse wheel to zoom in and out.

Congrats!!!

How are the A4s? Are they comfortable? Would they be OK for 3-4 hour trips? My girlfriend hates my stock Z06 seats and I've been looking at the A4s.

I haven't got much seat time in them, so they aren't "broke in". Right now they are firm but supportive. I have no complaints, but I will update how they wear in.

Took her on a test drive today!!! She runs and drives awesome and sounds amazing!!! I had goose bumps driving down the street. Taking her to the painter for touch up, rear glass, handles, and mirriors. Then she is off to the shop for a alignment, and inspection.
