Default LS7 Tune and warranty

So is it possible to get another PCM and tune it, then keep the original for trips to the dealer.

If it's that important to you, it would probably be easier and cheaper to buy HPtuners and reload the stock tune whenever you wanted to go to the dealer.

I have heard they can see even if you flash it back to stock. The reason for this is because I want to install headers/intake/exhaust but would like a tune to go with it. Those parts won't void the warranty however, the tune will.

Yes, you can do what your original question was... but,...

YOu would need to have your stock ecm,...then you would need to buy another, and then upload/calibrate it to your car(operating system).. usually with a dealership...then a quick theft relearn.... and back in business.

Or you can buy a diablosport Trinity or intune...have a diablosport dealer make a custom tune for your car,.upload it into the ecm,..and presto, all done. Diablosport software does not leave a CVN cal trace like every other tuning/programmer system does. So,..thats whaT I would do.... that, or get a good in at the dealership.

Ok so I got a good deal on a 09 C6 A6....but it needs more POWA.

So the diablosport's don't change the CVN? Can I store the factory tune and re-use it at a later date?
