I geared up to 3.73's, most of my driving is street, but still drag race, any more than 3.73's I wouldn't think you would need/want that.

Vince congrats on the FRC

I would run Kooks 1 7/8" with full 3" mid pipes going to a stainless works 3" cat back. You have to specify with Kooks you want 3" flanges for the cat back.

Gears I like my M12 with 3.73s. The M12 is lower in the first 3 gears than the M6 and with the 3.73s I can still play on the hwy rolls. I bought the M12 from Tom Garland Neverenuf who ran the trans with a 3.73 behind his 427 in a ~500rwhp C5.

Tires do you want drag radials? If so tub it and go to 335s. I'm running 295 BFD KDs since I didn't want a drag radial. 04 Z06 shocks, springs, and sway bars are waiting to go on, as well as a Mov'It Porsche 993 Brembo Big Red Brake Kit. I hope to make it up to North Georgia after that.

You are going all out. I would love to have a M12, but I hear those puppies are expensive. From what I was told the Z51 springs on our FRC's are the same springs as the Z06. Just the shocks and sway bars are different. Yes I do want to run drag radials. My current tires are 275 Nitto 555's and not drag radials and they spin easily from a roll if you hit it in first. Tubbing has crossed my mind and if I can find a good local shop to do it I will, but first I have to save for wheels to put 335's on. That $400 vette tax suck..

Thanks I'm just after a fast street car. I like to run the moutains thus no drag radials. I'm on 01 Z06 wheels now cheep, light and wide. Picked up alot of my parts used or GP. I collected everything for a year. You should have seen my apartment

Crashed 94 was selling one of his M12s for $2,000 chryoed, Viper shift forks etc etc. I have one of his M12s.

Also Rfgoss had a 3.73 chunk for sale you may want to e-mail him. I have bought from him.

The front z51 spring is the same the rear is not. My brakes weren't in the plan yet but I found them at a nice price.

Lamar I guess I have a year of building up parts as well. I have so much to purchase. New TB for FAST 90MM intake. I need Kooks 1-7/8th headers with 3 inch pipes to my Borla Stingers. I need air intake system. I might get rid of my chrome Z06 wheels for some OEM wheels for the lighter weight. I plan to upgrade the suspension as well. I am trying to decide on gear change. Money, Money, Money.. Do you have any pics of your ride Lamar? Here is a lil video of mine.. http://65.35.32.173/JAY/OnHwy-Small.wmv

Quality is not great because it is compressed. My car is low as hell. The previous owner went with 18x9.5 in the back so I cant put a 295 drag radial on her unless I purchase new rear wheels

The 295 will fit on a 18x9.5 but the sidewall will flex in some. I ran 295s on my Y2K until the Z06s came in. Not Ideal but it'll work. Its always $$$.

One of the few pics hosted now. I'm the black one on the right.

Do you know if they make a DR in 295 other than BFG's?
