Thumbs up newest MTI project car - Supercharged Vette!

Here are some photos of MTI's latest in-shop project vehicle. It started life as a 2004 Z06 Vette, but was transformed into an all-out road racer with alot of power.

MTI 427ci "Z07" package, low compression setup with 6.0L heads, and a custom ProCharger setup. 786 rwhp!
custom front and rear facia, CCW wheels
too many suspension/brake upgrades to list, it has everything under it.

Seeing Vettes like this makes me very uninterested in the upcoming C6

Definatly Tiger Shark inspired, if not an actual TS kit. And those #s are damn good. How much boost on this setup, and how much does the package cost?

It's not a Tiger Shark kit. There's no such thing. But, it is engineered by the same folks that created the Tiger Shark for GM Special Vehicles. You can find complete information about both the Tiger Shark concept car and the TGR SRK body package here: http://www.tigersharkcorvette.com

I'd still like to know the #s of it all if anyone knows.

I get the legal BS behind it not being called the Tiger Shark package, but thats just stupid. It looks the same, it fits the original car yet its not a Tiger Shark kit? Thats just dumb. Thats like someone comming out with a Lynginfeltur

They're not the same parts that were on the Tiger Shark, and they don't look exactly the same. I don't think it's stupid at all for them to name the product line something else that's similar. It makes sense to me, because it's a different product that offers some similar styling. As far as Lingenfelter. Well, that's a company name, not a specific product offering. That would be dumb if someone established an actual company called "Lynginfeltur" as a knockoff of Lingenfelter.

I copied this from the product description:

The TGR SRK™ Body Package is what Corvette enthusiasts have been waiting for! The package incorporates the aggressive styling of the official GM Tiger Shark Concept Vehicle. The TGR SRK™ Body Package's front fascia, optional chin spoiler, and rear fascia are manufactured out of polyurethane just like the OEM C5 Corvette front and rear fascia components!
For comparison:

Here's the Tiger Shark -

Here's the TGR SRK Body Package's front fascia -

There's a big difference.
