Bill Heard in Sugarland is one of the largest dealers in the country. You should probably be able to get a deal there. There are some good deals on Z06s out there, too. You might check out: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=52

Thans for the response man. Bill Heard is known for jacking people around since they have a huge reputation.

First things first if your not going to keep the truck take it to carmax and see what they will give you for it. The best way to get a really good deal is to get rid of your truck on your own or you will owe to much and won't be able to roll that much negative equity into the vette. So somehow get rid of the truck, and pay off the negative that you owe on it. Then go get approved on a loan for a certain amount, lets say 40K should buy you a very nice Z06 with no miles on it. I would buy from either someone on corvetteforum.com or z06vette.com. Very good deals to be had, you can get a 01 from 27-31K depending on miles, an 02 for 29-35K depending on miles, and 03 for 35-39 on average, and the 04 would be high 30's more likely in the 40's. If you decide to do modifications to this vehicle look up the cost of parts and stuff, it can get more expensive for a vette than a Camaro.

I plan on just doing a 100shot TNT kit on mine, with QTP-electric cutouts, and zip-tie mod, and call it a day. I don't plan on putting out more than 500rwhp and more than likely it will be 480-490 RWHP and the torque will be over 500. That is plent enough power without diggin into the motor, and it should sound pretty good with just cutouts.

JET

PS good luck, but you really need to see your truck out right or you will get bent over big time, and you will need a nice down payment in the range of 10K would be my guess on a minimum

From a dealer, mid-thirties would be fine. My '01 only had 9000 miles and I paid $32K. The lowest I've seen anyone pay was 27K and it was high miles. A good negotiation plus is that GM was offering 0% on new ones and you could find '04s for a little over $40K... Regardless, you will LOVE the Z06.

Yeah Jet your right man. I already have a few people that said if i sell the truck they want it. I will see if that still stands so i can move forward with a vette purchase. If im paying $554/month for the truck at 5.9% i know i can get a vette for that price maybe a lil more but its in the budget so if it works out to 600 or more a month that would be ok.

Kyle, first you will LOVE the Z06 man! I know, I couldn't go back to my SS after driving this car! Second, sometimes Corvettes of Houston has really good deals. Check online to see their inventory. Believe it or not, I got my 04 Z06 from them with 1,000 miles on it last year for $42k. That's a good deal my friend! Good luck and let me know if I can help. I agree that you need to sell your truck, there is no way you will get a fair price on trade in unless you catch the right salesman at the last day of the month.
